Scott Emerine is Co-Founder of Branding Iron and heads up the account service team, along with the media and public relations department. Emerine has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Oral Roberts University and a Master of Science degree in Health Communications from Boston University. For more than two decades, this former editor and journalist has utilized his media contacts to help clients gain international media attention. Emerine enjoys helping clients make a “splash” in the media or “making noise” in the industry. When not working, he enjoys fishing and playing by playing bass guitar. Scott practices what he teaches as an adjunct professor for Oral Roberts University and facilitator for Boston University.
Marne “Wolf” Brobeck is Co-Founder of Branding Iron and oversees all things creative. After a 16-year stint in Atlanta, Brobeck found his way back to East Tennessee where he continues to unveil unforgettable imagery. Ask Marne about his expansive collection of gold statues and advertising accolades, and he will shrug it off, inviting a more interesting discussion about flint knapping or winemaking. “After many years–and even more clients, you start to fill an eclectic bag of knowledge. Oh, I could go on-and-on discussing the finer points of microporosity, the down-blending of uranium, or the rigidity of copolymer polypropylene,” he says with a smile. “But I’ll spare you the pain.”
Maybe it’s her Midwest upbringing. Or, perhaps, it’s her devotion to all things good. Whatever the reason, people gravitate to Joy Emerine. A graduate from King University, Joy keeps Branding Iron’s financials spot-on accurate. She also keeps vendors singing her praises by keeping them paid in full within 30 days. Speaking of singing, Joy is on a worship team and is a blessing to the church with her vocals.
Tim Rhea tunneled out of East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and has been applying his skills since Thirtysomething was still on the air. Notorious for his patience and attention to detail, Tim is known to perform graphic design under a microscope, thus causing many a multi-page layout to tap-out in submission. He also holds the undocumented title of “Trivia Ninja” in the Guinness book of world records for knowing the B-side title from every 45-rpm phonograph record from 1951-1978. It’s likely you will find Tim in front of his Mac, applying the finishing touches to any number of design documents. Or maybe you’ll recognize him at Comic-Con 2019. Good luck with that.
